TV ADS: STUDIO 23'S PRODUCT PLACEMENTS UP BY 87%!

Despite being a non-election year ABS-CBN's sister channel, Studio 23, was able to increase its total ad minutes by as much as 87% year-on-year! This is in spite of a 2% industry wide decline  in total TV Ad spending from 161, 609 ad minutes (2010) to 161,248 on the first six months of 2011.

This increase was brought about by the HUGE decline in QTV's ad minutes which early this year took a transformation to become a News Channel from an Entertainment Channel.

Last year, QTV was the NO.3 free tv channel in terms of Ad loadings but it fell to No.5, behind Studio 23 and TV5, when it transformed to GMA NEWS TV!
